Flowers & Money Gift

My son is going to a birthday party for a friend in the neighborhood. Instead of the normal gift cards that 12 year olds prefer, I wanted to make it a little more personal. So when I saw this on Jenn Balcer's blog (thanks for sharing Jenn!)I knew I wanted to make something like this.
For mine, I took apart a silk flower! See the WHOLE flower in the bottom of the photo! Well I took it apart and that is what I used for my flowers! I used my Scallop Circle punch and other Stampin' Up circle punches for the centers and attached them to bamboo skewers with sticky strip. I was fumbling with getting the leaves (money) on them, but I think it looks pretty good for a quick attempt!
I put some Basic Grey paper I had on the inside of the paint can and then stuffed some crimped kraft paper (premade) in the can. This supports the skewers somewhat. The only stamping on here is the Happy Birthday tag from the Tag Punch kit that is now retired, but you can still get the punch and it's larger counterpart!

Are those extra tall paint pails? If so, where do you find them? I would love to get some of those. What a great project. You did a wonderful job!!!
