Rockin' Robin~~~~~Tweet Tweet Tweet

Sorry...but when I saw this bird I started singing the song. Now I know she's not in her true robin colors but the song still fits. Every little swallow.....every chickadee....every little bird........
(now finish the verse in a comment below and you could win a prize!)
I am too tired to type all the details and all right now............maybe later!

Whale of Blue

This card is done with the whale stamp from Pun Fun which you can get with a free star wheel during the Free Wheelin' promotion!
I love how this turned out. I used Brocade Blue cs for the base card and used Close to Cocoa Prints Designer Series paper for the bottom layer with Chocolate Chip. It is hard to see in this picture, but the main card is stamped with a stamp from the Sprinkles background set with Brocade Blue ink. I used the Cutter Kit to distress the Whale layers and sponged the edges of the White cs with Brocade Blue ink. The Twill tape is stamped with Black Stazon with the words from the stamp. And I tied a piece of Chocolate grosgrain ribbon to this. The flower is made with the 5-Petal Flower punch. Punched the brown image first, then the blue. Used dotto to tape the blue flower to a scrap piece of paper and then changed the direction of the punch to make a different flower using the same punch. To finish it all off I used a brad from the Build a Brad with a circle cut from the opposite side of the DSP.

Little Fairy!

This stamp is called Eloise the Fairy from StampingBella. Isn't she the cutest! The cardstock is Stampin Up. I stamped the image onto Shimmery White and colored her with Prisma Color pencils and gamsol. The pink cardstock is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The flower background paper is from a Glitter Stack I got at Joann's. The little flowers around her waist are little flowers I got in the Easter section at Joann's. They are soooo tiny! I glued them on with Crystal Effects.

Peonies For You

I love this stamp set! It's called Pretty Peony. So easy to make a beautiful card with a 2-step set. The base card is Purely Pomegranate. Layered on top of that is a retired designer paper. The green strip across this is Always Artichoke that has been stamped with the same color in with Weathered background stamp, and the corners are done with the Ticket Corner punch. The flowers are stamped on Naturals Ivory cardstock. I stamped the Weathered stamp on top of it with Creamy Caramel ink. The flowers are then stamped with Rose Red and Purely Pomegranate Classic Ink. The leaves are stamped with Old Olive and Always Artichoke. Then I used the Photo Corner punch with the green papers again, and added the Vintage brads. The flower in the center was stamped, cut out, and popped up with dimensionals. The ribbon is retired. I didn't add a sentiment so I can make it whatever I need to when I use it.

Snow Geese

Connor and I went to my parent's house over the weekend in Ocean Pines, MD. Driving down the road we saw all these snow geese just laying in a field. I pulled over real quick to snap a few pics. They decided to run away!!

Sister Socks

My little sister wanted a pair of socks. But she won't wear the colorful ones like I would! So these are for her. Shades of black, grey, white, and brown. Making socks is addicting!!!

Shell-A-Bration

I love this stamp set called Seaside! This is my Dad's birthday card. (he usually doesn't look at my blog!) I used the Shell Collage Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. I inked the folder with my Creamy Caramel ink pad and then put my Shimmery White cardstock in the folder and embossed. It put the ink on the inside of the embossing part. I then stamped the shells with Creamy Caramel onto SW and cut them out. I popped them up with dimensionals. (the larger shell has double layers of them) I tied the striped ribbon around the layers. Then I stamped Happy Birthday using Everyday Flexible Phrases and cut the phrase out with the Word Window punch, set a Creamy Caramel eyelet with my Crop-A-Dile and tied it to the ribbon with linen thread. I layered this onto Basic Black and then on my Creamy Caramel card. I love the texture of this card!

Glittery Easter Egg Bouquet

I love our new Chunky Sprinkles glitter in the Occasions Mini catalog! So pretty! The colors are Celery, Crystal Iris, Light Blue, and Light Pink. I didn't put any on paper yet......but did make this today!!! I used bamboo skewers and pushed them through the bottom of the egg. I used a tack glue and spread it all over the egg. Then using my Powder Pal,so I don't waste this YUMMY glitter, I poured the glitter over the egg, twirling it with the skewer to get it covered. Stuck them in my pencil cup to dry, then added the polka-dot green organdy ribbon (non SU). Stuck them in a vase of flat green marbles and "voila", I have an Easter Egg Bouquet! Pretty huh!
Will be a center piece for stamp club tomorrow.........and oh yeah.........got the eggs in 6pk at Michaels.

Chickie Treats!

Made this cute little treat holder as my swaps for my stamp club. I used the Wild Wasabi paper from this special. I trimmed some off to make it a matchbook style holder. The background is done with the It's Beautiful jumbo wheel that I ran over my Wild Wasabi ink pad. The chick, from A Good Egg Stamp Set is stamped with Basic Brown ink on Shimmery White cardstock and then colored in with Creamy Caramel and Pumpkin Pie Markers. I then stamped the bottom half of the chick onto a sheet of Jersey Shore Designer series paper, and cut out the cracked add portion and adhered to the stamped image of the chick. (cute huh!) This was then punched with the ticket corner punch and layered on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cs that was punched as well. The bottom part of the matchbook is scalloped using the corner rounder punch. Then I added a strip of Pumpkin Pie behind it. It is stapled at the bottom and the corner of the layer is embellished with a piece of Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon. I used mini glue dots to hold a pkg. of Easter candy inside.

Frame your Rub-Ons!

I LOVE the Love & Happiness rub-ons from Sale-A-Bration! Only a few more days to place your orders of $50 or more to earn a set or these wonderful rub-ons! I have these frames that I got at the Target $1 spot a year or so ago. They came 3 to a pack for about $2.50 if I remember. I hope they come back!
I used the brown rub-ons on this white frame. I love how it turned out. The dog in the photo is just what came in the frame. I also added some Prima flowers but added a SU clear button on top with rub-ons too! It is hard to tell in the photo, but I took a sponge and Basic Brown ink and distressed the sides some. Then I took the black ribbon that came on the frame and replaced it with the yummy satin ribbon we had in a mini catty a while back. SU needs this in the new catty!!!!! Crossing my fingers!

Bottle Cap Jewelry

I was playing around with a bottle top for a necklace. Not that I would wear one of myself, but I didn't have any other photo to use. So this is me as a little girl. I used the 1" circle punch to cut out the photo and then put Crystal Effects on top to seal it. On the back I used the punch again and cut out some of the Summer Picnic paper. On top of this I placed one of those bubble type stickers. I punched a little hole with an awl and put a jump ring to add it to a necklace. Added some gingham ribbon and done! Kinda cute huh!

Little Easter Basket

I CASED this basket idea from Angie Kennedy Juda, and just changed my paper to watercolor for the chick. I also added the little oval tag and ribbon to the handle. And please pretend there is candy in the basket! I meant to put some in before I took the picture! Can you say ANOTHER senior moment! I wish Easter was later this year so I could have more time to play with this set!!!!

Anyhoooooo
Here is what did with my phone. I got a new coverplate in white and put the black rub-ons on the front. I forgot to take a pic of the back of the phone (senior moment!) but it is black and I put a white rub-on there. Isn't this too cute!!!!
