I haven't posted any card creations in a while so I figured I would show a few. Hard to tell from the photo's, but the baby card is a swing card. I used to make these by hand, cutting with an exacto knife. But I was going through some things in my craft room and found a die cut I forgot I had purchased!

For the Birds
Another Regional Swap. This is just a "card front". We demo's like to have ideas, and this is a great way to swap without having to make an entire card and keeps the cost down.
So here is what I came up with:
I knew I could "step it up" with buttons etc, but didn't have enough of the same one to put it on all of them. (so if you swap with me, you can add a button, ribbon, or whatever)
So here is what I did with one of them. I trimmed it down and layered it onto a card made from the same blue cardstock. I added more dots around the frame with the white gel pen, and added a button with some white bakers twine. See how just a simple thing can change the look of a card!

Bridal Shower Things
My cousin is getting married in September and we threw her a shower. My contributions are the shower favors, and food name tags and people name tags. I used our Stampin' Up! Petite Purse die cut and embossed the cardstock with the new Chevron embossing folder. The pearl is from a local craft store.
Love how it all turned out!

I "Heart' U!
SCS had a great tutorial on this adorable card. I bought quite a bit of Valentine paper from the SU clearance rack and used it for these cards. I used a heart from our new Framelits to cut the Heart for the center!

These are our new Framelits. They come in a great plastic envelope that snaps, but in anticipation of more of these to come I redid the storage! I used one of our empty Clear Mount Stamp Cases. I cut our magnetic sheets down to size, put the information sheets that come in the envie with the Framelits in the front and back, adhered the magnet sheets to that, and then the Framelits cling right to the magnet! Voila!!!

Flower Power!
I loved the Tootsie Pop flowers that Kay made here. Mom asked for a favor idea for their Sigma Beta Phi Founder's Luncheon coming up in April and I knew these would be perfect! So I grabbed all my retired card stock and headed to my parents house for the weekend. Mom had two of her friends and members come over to help make them. Mom and I had pre-cut all the flowers and had them ready to go in bowls, separated in bowls. We had a few laughs, but were able to make 60 of them in less than two hours. The only thing left for them to do is bend up the petals before the event.

Purple Flower Power!
I am loving my SU exclusive Flower Folds Bigz die cut! This die cut will cut your cardstock and put score lines for the petals to be raised etc. But look at what you can do with fabric!!!!! I made this up to wear on my lapel of my jackets. So easy to do!
Let's pick a date for you to host a workshop with your family and friends and I will demo this at your workshop! And YOU, as the hostess will get this from me! (will have a few color palettes to choose from!)

Pillow Box Halloween Treat
If you haven't caught the Big Shot bug yet, let me tempt you. Shelli demo'd it on a local Utah station and I knew I had to find some acetate! You can see the video a few posts down.
Anyhoooo.....I got my acetate at Michael's in the fine arts section. Here is what the tablet looks like.
They are 9"x12" and come in a tablet of 25 sheets.
To make the box, you use the Pillow Box Bigz die . The sandwich layer is the cutting pad, the shims that come with the crease pad, the die cut, your acetate, then the crease pad.
I filled mine with Halloween M&M's, tied some Black Gingham ribbon around it to hold it closed. Then I stamped the tag image from Eat, Drink & Be Scary, onto Whisper White and cut the image out with Small Tag Punch, and the used the larger Tag Punch to cut the layer of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. added some more Black Gingham ribbon to the tag, and attached it to the box with Mini glue dots.
Now you can make your own party favors for a Baby or Bridal Shower, Birthday parties, Wedding, and on and on and on!

Frankie M&M Treat

This is the Make & Take the girls made at Stamp Club. I CASED this idea from a few of them out there. I had them tape the small cello bag closed, and used the black mini brads to attach it to Frankie, and therefore, giving him his bolts. It was fun to see how each one was different. Depending on the placement of the eyes and nose, really changed his expression.
