Yummy Goodness!  Ok...these are not something you want to eat if you are counting calories.  Or maybe you can have one as a treat!  I saw this idea on Pinterest and knew my son would love them!  All thing things he loves in one!

It looked to me that the ones on Pinterest were made with a large square pan and full size Reese's peanut butter cups.  I wanted to scale it down. And good thing I did!!! These things are VERY RICH!

I used my Demarle Mini Muffin tray.  I put a small amount of the cookie down in the bottom, added a mini peanut butter cup, then some of the prepared brownie mix to top it off.  The directions said to bake for 18 minutes at 350, but mine weren't quite done.  I recommend between 20 and 25 minutes and maybe more depending on your oven.  Let them cool completely before you pop them out of the mold!

YUMMY! Taco salad at home!

I love taco salads, but wanted to make them at home. I know we can make our own shells, but I wanted a quick fix. I have been on the lookout for some pre-made bowls and finally found them! I got them at one of my local Walmart. I browned ground beef, added some taco seasoning, and a can of black beans. I put the lettuce in the bowl, added the beef mixture on top and then layered with, Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, shredded mexican cheese, and topped it off with sour cream! YUM! Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs!

I love making fun things for parties! I have made fruit kabobs in the past with longer skewers, but found these shorter ones marketed for candy apples I knew they would make a cuter smaller version of something I saw on Pinterest. I cut up a store bought pound cake into squares, put a strawberry on one end , a piece of cake in the center, then another strawberry on top. I then melted green candy chocolate melts (for the Christmas combo of red/green) and put in my icing bag and just piped the squiggles all over. Refrigerate a few minutes to harden the chocolate...and voila! They are wrapped up and ready to take the the holiday party tonight! (I think I will make again for Christmas Eve!)

Easter Cookies..............YUM!

We are celebrating Easter on Saturday with my husbands family. I am bringing dessert. I wanted to make some cookies to go with the pastries we are getting at Kolache Creations. This bakery features Kolache's which are a Czech pastry. (My husbands families heritage) I couldn't find my Egg Cookie Cutter so I only used the duck/chick and the bunny cutters. I love making sugar cookies! Labor intensive, but sooooo much fun to make. They are drying, so I can't stack them til they are completely dry. The chick is a very large cookie and very sweet with all the icing on it! So when I started running out of royal icing, I chose to just pipe the outline and and wings to make some a little less sweet. Link Happy Stamping & Knitting!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This is what I made for some co-workers, and for my stamp club members. Shamrock sugar cookies wrapped up in a paper/glassine bag!
Andrea Walford had a tutorial for running one of our new glassine bags through the Big Shot with a texturz plate, so I had to give it a try!
It is hard to see in the pics, but I used one from the Stampin Up backgrounds 1 set. The image is called "Going Green" from the Occasions Mini catalog.......
A fun way to wrap up some treats!

Scrumptious Cake Bites

Simply Scrumptious! I have read about these and have been dying to make them......so I did. They are very very rich. I love sweets but it was too much for me to finish!!! So I think next time I will make them a little smaller. Connor however loved them and ate three right away.

Teddy Bear Picnic Breakfast

I remember a book and tape that my Mom gave Connor when he was two or three. It was the Teddy Bear Picnic book that came with a tape with the song of the same name. So whenever I look at this mold I think of that song! I got this mold a while ago and never made anything in them. Well tonight, Connor wanted a "Breakfast" dinner. We do this once in a while and he loves it! This mold is featured in the current Demarle at Home catalog. It is called the Teddy Bear Tray. You can see it here. The recipe in the catalog tells you to fill up the molds and you get 9 of them. Well if you look at my pictures here, you can see that it made some fat little bears! Next time I will only fill them up half way. I got nine out of the mold, had leftover batter, and made four more bears. They were a hit! Even have leftover to microwave for tomorrow's breakfast! I think this would make a great treat for kids of all ages! Wouldn't a Teddybear Pancake breakfast be a wonderful birthday surprise!!! You can also make little cakes, and have the kids frost and decorate them. Or how about some Jello Jigglers. Or mmmmmmmmmmmmm............Chocolate Bears! Yum!
This is the mold on the perforated baking sheet ready to go.
This is the mold filled with the pancake batter.
This is what they puffed up to by filling the bears up all the way!
This is one of the fat little bears already to be gobbled up! (poor ol' bear!)
