My hubby, son and I were all supposed to go to the beach this past weekend. I was going for the Stamping by the Sea convention and they were going to go and hang out. Hubby and son decided they really didn't want to go. Hubby insisted weather was going to be bad and they would be bored while I was stamping........sooooooo......they insisted I go by myself! And I did!!!!
It was a quiet, but productive weekend. I took a class on Saturday morning and made this mirror. It is a mirror frame from Ikea. The squares are chipboard that were painted with Tim Holtz's crackle paint on some, and embossing powders on others. The stamped images were stamped on paper with Stazon and then adhered to the chipboard . We used his Distress Ink pads to color those images. I also used it to go around the sides of my tiles. It was fun to do!
And here is a look at the goodies I got! But before I can go play I have some housework to do!

Beautiful frame!!! I live by the beach and I'm so inspired right now. TFS!
What a wonderful mirror! I'm so glad that you went anyway. Sometimes you just gotta do what a girl's gotta do!
Your mirror turned out gorgeous! You will love those Nesties I see on your table! I am totally addicted.
Hugs and smiles
