I need some feedback. I go to other blogs and see that they are very popular based on all the comments I see when I leave one. But my blog hardly gets them. Do I need to do tutorials? And if so, how do you do the video ones? My recorder is the small tape but I am clueless on how to get it to the pc. And I do have a digital camera that has a video feature but I don't know how to do that and get a great video............Need words of help please!

OK. You don't have to do tutorials. You don't have to please other people. Just be yourself. Like you are. That's what I look for in a blog. Your blog catches my eye because of the knitting content even more than the stamping. Just do the blog for yourself. (I don't keep a blog but I do Journal every night, just for myself.) I'm sorry that you are feeling lonely. I'll try to check in every day! Hugs!

Hi, I only just came across your blog today through a link in a scan you posted to one of my numerous card lists. :) I would guess you can upload the video from your digital camera the same way you upload the photos. Just plug it in and save it in a file on your computer. I know those new flip cameras are being used for many blog video tutorials as well.

Wow, I can't believe you don't have more comments, your cards are wonderful! Don't worry I feel the same way some times. The only suggestion that I have is to put yourself out there and promote your blog, do you belong to Splitcoast Stampers? because doing the challenges and uploading your cards on their site with a link to your blog will definitely get you some traffic!
Good luck and keep up the fantastic work!

Hey Joan...the way I work is if someone comments on my blog, I comment back. Doesn't always work but I find more often than not, it does the trick!

I can't leave a comment on every blog I read as I read over 800. But I always look. I have you in my reader.

Just because people aren't posting doesn't mean they aren't stopping by. I have you in my "favorites" (and have for some time...since before the holidays) and I visit you daily. BUT, I visit MANY blogs and just don't have time to post...gotta view and run!! I'm sure many people are like that.

I think the people who have lots of posters are ones who do give aways...blogger blackmail is what I call it!!

Anyway, even truly "popular" people (like Time Holtz, Ali Edwards and Lisa Bearnson) don't have a TON of posters unless there's a give away. These blogs usually get about 50 posts a day...when they have a give away it's in the thousands!! You know more than 50 people visit their blogs daily.

Anyway, hope this makes you feel better..people are visiting, they just don't make the time to comment!!

I really like your poem & the combo. The other cards are so spring-like, which is what we need.
Very nice blog [the 1st time I've been on it]. As long as you're happy with your presentation, that's what counts. I've been in swaps I wouldn't have put that combo together, but seeing it all done, really suited me allot.

I think your blog is soooo cute. I like your sense of humor. Keep it up. I just stumbled across the blog and will surely look in again some time. I thought the children's actions were just hysterical. You with your hand in the toilet grabbing up the bubble gum will live in my mind for ages.
And "will they flush her?" was more than I could take. My sides still hurt from laughing. Keep it up, whatever you do.
