I just finished knitting these and they are now in my Etsy shop! I think they look like our Stampin' Up! colors don't you! These are for the demo who has everything!
This is my place to share my love of rubber stamping, cooking, knitting, and snippets of my life. Thanks for stopping by!

DVD Tin Storage
I bought a bunch of these tins to alter but haven't done it yet! I have seen other stampers do this and have done it myself. I did it to this now retired SU set that was 3 large stamps. I wanted the words to be separate to give me more versatility. I pulled the rubber off the foam and mounted onto EZ mount. I put the labels on the top inside so I can keep track of them. The label is on the outside so I can put it on my shelf and see the name.
A Tisket a Tasket.....I made a little Green Basket!!!!
OMG! Now I know why hand made baskets are expensive! This little basket measure about 4-1/2" wide by 4-1/4" high and took me foreva!!!!!!! REALLY! I wish I had timed myself..........but I know it was a few hours! And it isn't perfect by any means! I saw this tutorial on Laura Canale's blog and knew I had to try it! Laura you are awesome for making up this tutorial! I ended up using a bit more than was called for, cause it just wasn't working for me!!!
My paper is Wild Wasabi. I used some hardware from Hodgepodge hardware to frame out the words "be happy" from retired set So Many Sayings. The little flower brads are some that I had in my stash! I stamped a flower with the Scallop Circle punch, and the flower stamp from the SAB set, So Many Scallops, used a prima flower and brad to finish it off. Then I added an eyelet with my Crop-O-Dile and tied it to the basket with my Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon. PHEW!

Sweet 16
ahhhhh! To be turning 16! That day is too far gone for me! But my niece will be turning 16 on Leap Day! (don't look at this Meghan!) So since I was up before dawn this morning I decided to stamp while the boys were asleep.
I love this image from Stamping Bella and knew it would be perfect for the card. All other supplies and images are Stampin' Up!
The base card is Bashful Blue and I stamped the background with a stamp from Sprinkles with Bashful Blue ink. There is a layer of Old Olive and then a layer of the Summer Picnic DSP (can you tell I love this paper!) The image is colored with Prisma/Gamsol and then layered with Real Red and then the left side is punched with the ticker corner punch. The red ribbon is from my trip to the Offray ribbon outlet. The 16 is stamped with a retired set, Doodle Numbers and punched with a circle punch and then layered in Real Red with the Scallop Circle Punch. I stamped "sweet" from Everyday Flexible Phrases. And the finishing touch was Stickles for the headlights! I love how this turned out!

A Cup of Tea!
I really had fun making this little card. I love the new Summer Picnic Designer Series paper in the Occasions mini that is starting on March 1st!
To make this card I cut Old Olive cardstock 3-1/4" x 9-3/4". I scored at each end at 3-1/4". I cut the top of the last section off to create the little pocket. Then used Sticky Strip to seal just the bottom portion. On the front of the card I layered with Real Red cs and then a piece of the Summer Picnic paper. On this I made a flower using a stamp from the SAB set called So Many Scallops. I used the one with the birthday candles in it but covered it up with a circle cut with the 1-3/8" Circle punch in Bashful Blue. Then I inked up just the Happy Hellos from the SAB set called Lots of Thoughts with my black marker and stamped it into Old Olive and punched out with the 1-1/4" Circle punch. I also used the Photo Corner punch and inked up just the small words on the same word stamp noted above. I used a flower ribbon slide that is also in the upcoming Hodgepodge Hardware set in the Occasions mini. I ran the Red Gingham ribbon through it and tie it around the card. I secured it by using two dimensionals on the top and bottom of the flower.
I can relate!

When it Rains it Freezes!
Compared to the rest of the US we have not had that harsh of a winter. I was almost counting our blessings that we didn't have any snow days to keep us in school longer. Well last night we got some sleet and freezing rain..........school was opening 2 hours late then closed! So this is what my Cousin It bushes looked like this morning, and my little pine tree. Now it's all melted away.
Gotta Love these Rub-Ons!
I played around a little this morning with my new Love & Happiness rub-ons I got from Sale-A-Bration. I have a few of these containers in my stamp room so I had to decorate at least one!
Then I decided to Bargains Galore! & so much more!
I previously posted about getting some great bargains at Recollections! I pulled stuff out of the bag and took some photos! I got this stuff at a great deal on the last few days of the close-out sale. I was surprised to see Tim Holtz stuff still there as well as other stamp sets. This doesn't include some 12x12 paper that I had already put away! Take a guess on what I paid for all of this! And I did get 3 of the mini "I Do" albums but only 2 are in the photos.
This yummy brown ribbon is what I used on my Valentines on previous post! It is scumptious!

Will You be my Cuttlebug?
HaHa! Couldn't resist! Ok! I cleaned up my room quite a bit today and in the process came across some "Stuff" in my "Stash"! So I decided to use it to play instead of putting it away (hmmmmm....didn't mean to rhyme!)
Anyhoooo..........I had these great pink cards with the square opening already punched in them! The inside is polkadots and comes with a white insert that I used to stamp on in the inside! Easy huh! Then I took my Cuttlebug embossing folder and embossed the lower half of the card.
I had these little 3-D heart stickers in my stash for a while! They say Love on some and Sweetheart on the others. I put this in the center of the square on the inside so it "pops" through the opening.
I used Always stamp set for the upper half of the card front, and stamped the heart below the 3-D heart on the inside. I stamped Happy Valentine's Day with a retired set. I finished them off with a bit of white organdy ribbon! Whatcha think?
My favorite part is the brown trim! I picked this up at Recollection's during the last days of their closing sale! It was a whole role of this for about $2!
I should take a pic of all the stuff I got! OMG!!! I think I will!

Knit or Blog? Knit or Blog?
Guess who won! I have been very bad with my blog of late! GEEZ! But I finally learned how to make socks and have been obsessed with finishing them! Well this is actually my second pair! First pair is in the wash!
We are off school tomorrow for Election Day so I hope to tackle the mess in my stamp room and hopefully make the time to stamp! It's so cold in my basement though!
