I joined the bandwagon and made one of these adorable clutch purses using the Top Note die cut/Big Shot. I love how easy they are to do and how cute they turn out. I made this one for my niece. I put money in the bottom, and filled the rest with chocolate! Julie (Artchick) has a great tutorial on her blog.

What is that noise outside?

It was almost 11:00pm and I was sitting here watching my tivo'd Greys Anatomy. I have the french door open enjoying the breeze. .........all of a sudden I hear a noise outside that sounds like someone on my patio!!!! I jump up and shut the door and turn on the outside light! There is something sitting on my patio chair! I run and grab my camera and see this critter climbing up the post of our patio roof! He/she is adorable but I don't want to get too close! Then it starts to grab at the patio lights strung across the patio......................I think all he/she wanted was to have the lights turned on!

Butterflies are Free!

We are celebrating Bug Week at school this week. I wanted to make the kids some little treat. I have seen plenty of these die cut butterflies with candy attached. I like the Smarties candy the best for these. The kids loved them! Some were even digging in the trash looking for ones that were tossed!

I just used a lot of paper that was in my scrap bin! Great way to use them up!

(I don't throw my scraps away!!!!)

***********note to add that I used mini glue dots to connect the layers and put the smarties on the back!

I think it's time for the home!

I got up this morning, showered, and got dressed. I went shopping to the new Ollies that opened up near me. Then I went to Costco. Came home, unloaded, put the cold stuff away.............then a trip to the library and then to the grocery store for a few items I couldn't get at Costco. Came home, plopped on the couch for a minute to cool off and scan through some of the knitting books I picked up at the library. DH comes in and says, "Hon, do you realize you have on two different shoes?"!!!!!! OMG! I looked down at my feet and saw this..........................................................................................................................

Now mind you..............they are both Croc flip flops........just different colors! So if you saw me out shopping today (and I know some of you looked at me weird!)

I am not nuts, just didn't pay attention to my shoes since they both felt the same!

My neighbor just called me over to look at something on his porch! This is what was there! Anyone know what they are? Flying Ant? They are all the black stuff you see here!!! EEEWWWWWWW!
