Scrumptious Cake Bites

Simply Scrumptious! I have read about these and have been dying to make them......so I did. They are very very rich. I love sweets but it was too much for me to finish!!! So I think next time I will make them a little smaller. Connor however loved them and ate three right away.

Doesn't this crack you up!!!! I went to the Stampscrapartour convention in Westminster today. I did some shopping and was about to call it a day when I heard my number called as a door prize!!!! I won $100 in tour bucks to spend at the convention!!!! So of course I went back and got some things that I had eyeballed, but my purse said "NOOOOOOO" to. This is one of the sheets of unmounted I got. The stamps are by Starving Artist Stamps. You can see the sheet here. I colored her with Copics, used some Heidi Grace Halloween background paper, the spiderweb Coluzzle embossing folder, and a large circle punch for the moon. The corners were punched with the SU Ticket Corner punch.

Web of Spiders

I saw this idea in a newsletter from Paper Crafts. I used my coluzzle to cut a circle through both layers of the cardstock and designer paper. Then I taped silver cord between the two layers. I used the Spider punch by Martha Stewart and punched 2 spiders for each one and glued them back to back with the cord in-between. The base cardstock is Only Orange and the DSP is Ghostly Greetings. I got the little felt pumpkin in a tube of felt die cuts at the Target $1 Spot. I used the Scallop Edge punch for the bottom strip, but wanted it rough, so I didn't cut it as rounded.

Frankie M&M Treat

This is the Make & Take the girls made at Stamp Club. I CASED this idea from a few of them out there. I had them tape the small cello bag closed, and used the black mini brads to attach it to Frankie, and therefore, giving him his bolts. It was fun to see how each one was different. Depending on the placement of the eyes and nose, really changed his expression.

Spooky Spider

I got the medium Spooky Spider rub-on and it fit on this large jar from Target. I filled it up with candy I don't really care for so I won't eat it! I put the ruler next to it so you can guage the size of it all. Not the best picture, but you get the idea! Get your rub on today! You can get them til the 31st!

Oh the "JOY" of the Big Shot!

I am soooo excited! I was trying to fall asleep last night and was thinking about some of the things I still wanted to do to prepare for my Stamp Club tonight. I am showcasing the Big Shot and wanted to have a few things to show the girls. My brain wouldn't rest. I almost got up to make them last night, but waited til Connor got off to school this morning. I even emailed Stampin' Up! this morning to show them the idea with pictures.

ok....that's enough huh!

This is a metal tape(flashing?) that I bought at the hardware store a few years ago. I cut a long piece and laid it right side down on my Join in the Cheer die cut. Then cut the words out, peeled off the backing tape, and adhered to the glass ornaments! THEN I took the tops off the ornaments, rolled up the Felt Flurries and put them inside! I had to use a paintbrush handle to open them up. So how cool is this?????? I don't know how long the adhesive will hold, so I think I am going to go back and brush on some Crystal Effects on the back as well.

Scallop a Card

I am soooo in love with my Big-Shot!!!! This is a card for my swap with my Stampers 10 club.

I used Scallop Circle # 113468 for the main card. I folded my cardstock in half and then put the fold line down a few petals so I would get a fold line for my card. This is then sponged with Pumpkin Pie ink. The middle scallop circle was done with Very Vanilla and the Scallop #2 Circles, item # 113469. This too was sponged with PP ink. The stamp set I used was Happiness Always. I added a rhinestone brad from Fire Circles. I tied some Mustard grosgrain ribbon on the fold as well. After I took the picture, I went around and put little black dots on the end of the VV petals. Such a sweet card!

Amy's Boutique

Amy Rysavy is a fellow stamper and has designed some stamps that you can purchase now! They are called Amy's Boutique, hence the title of this post. You can get them at All That Scraps. Amy made these for paper piecing and they are sooooo cute. When Recollections closed near me I went and got TONs of stuff real, real, cheap. The card used for this was one of the deals I got. I can't remember the name that was on the package though. It came with these long cards and envies to match. I have sworn to myself that I cannot cut another piece of designer paper up unless it's for a workshop or class, until I use up all the scrap pieces I have in my scrap bin. (Yeah, I know.....gonna be a long time before I use them all up, but hey at least I can say I am going to try!)

Anyhooo.....here is a card I came up with. I love this little dress and sure wish I could fit into something like this!

I added some ribbon bling for the belt and used some Hodgepodge Hardware for the sentiment.

I love the simplicity of this card.

Baby Jumper

This is a simple card I made up to go with the baby can (this post). The card Whisper White and embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The layers are Tempting Turquoise and Only Orange. The jumper was made with an Ellison die cut. I added a little bow of orange grosgrain with a mini glue dot.

Get Well with Fresh Cuts

A friend of ours was in a motorcycle accident on Friday. The driver turned left right in front of him! He tried to stop but couldn't, hit the front fender, went into the windshield and the flew over the car. He has a fractured pelvis, a big black eye, and a really badly bruised hip. Some road burns too. But for the most part he is very very lucky. So this is a get well card for him. Get well soon Mikey!

The stamp set is Fresh Cuts (#111634)

The base cardstock is Whisper White , with layers for Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss. I used the Scallop Circle punch and the Tag punch for the sentiment. The pic is bad, but the bottom layer of blue was embossed with a Cuttlebug EF.
